Browndale Fire Company Ordinance
- This ordinance allows Browndale Volunteer Fire Company the authority to bill insurance providers for the recovery of costs of certain emergency fire, rescue, and medical services rendered.
- Adopted September 9, 2015.
Disposition of Records Resolution
- This resolution states the Township's intent to follow the schedules and procedures for disposition of municipal records according to the Municipal Records Manual of 2008.

PSATS Unemployment Compensation Group Trust Participation Ordinance
- This ordinance authorizes the Township to participate in the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) Unemployment Compensation Group Trust.

Wayne County Hazard Mitigation Plan Adoption Resolution
- This resolution states that the Township adopts and will follow the County's most recent Hazard Mitigation Plan in the event of a disaster or emergency.

Nuisance Abatement Ordinance of 2014
- This ordinance addresses the causes of blighting and deteriorating conditions of properties, as well as public nuisances, including excessive noise disturbances, as well as establishes the penalties for violations.
- Adopted May 14, 2014.
- Penalties for violations were amended by a Resolution adopted October 8, 2021.
Nuisance Abatement Ordinance of 2018
- This ordinance addresses the causes of blighting and deteriorating conditions of properties, as well as public nuisances, including excessive noise or smell disturbances and the collection of junk or garbage on properties, as well as establishes the penalties for violations.
- Adopted November 14, 2018.
- A First Amendment was Adopted September 11, 2019 to include dogs, cats, and other domestic animals.
- Penalties for violations were amended by a Resolution adopted October 8, 2021.
- A Second Amendment was Adopted May 9, 2022 to include household pets, livestock, and fowl.

Uniform Construction Code (UCC) Permits
(as required by the State for larger structures and projects)
Application for Plan Examination and Building Permit
Guidelines for UCC Permits:
- Any detached accessory structure over 1,000 square feet needs a UCC permit and inspections. (Anything under 1,000 square feet, contact the Zoning/Building Permit Officer.)
- Any addition attached to a dwelling unit, no matter how small, needs UCC permit and inspections.
- Most decks need a UCC permit and inspections. There are some exceptions. Best to call UCC Enforcement Officer with questions.
- Any structural change or change to means of egress requires a UCC permit and inspections.
- Swimming pools over 24" in height and all in-ground pools require a UCC permit and inspections.
