Pennsylvania Farm Bureau is a general farm organization made up of members providing legislative support, information, and services to Pennsylvania’s farmers and rural families since 1950. The Farm Bureau provides members with representation in Washington and Harrisburg concerning legislation.
The Farm Bureau is based on a grass roots structure whereby county Farm Bureaus and their leaders develop and implement policy to be determined at an annual meeting each year. Issues which Farm Bureau has represented members on includes: farmland preservation, commodity pricing, tort reform, property tax reduction, health insurance reform, Sunday hunting, water rights and wildlife management, to name a few.
